case study: the health plan (THP)

Episource is a risk adjustment services and technology company, serving health insurers and provider organizations that participate in public programs (e.g. Medicare Advantage). This case study describes the benefit THP gained by implementing an Episource SaaS product for claims submissions.

Securing case studies in this industry is difficult because of the regulations surrounding contracting and participation, so this project required a delicate yet persistent approach.

Walter Brown's patient story

Walter received knee surgery from St. Vincent's in Worcester, MA in 2015 and has since become an outspoken supporter of theirs. I found his energy and sense of humor charming from the first few minutes on the phone. This made it especially important that his determination and optimism be captured in his story.

Sea Change Log

An ongoing project I've had the honor of being involved with. Three of my friends are sailing around the world and documenting their journey. I contribute by editing their blog posts and writing content for their documentary web series.

ByCycling

In 2012, my friend and I rode bikes across the southern U.S. and then up the east coast. These are three posts from the blog we kept during the adventure. They are three of our experiences from locations in Louisiana and South Carolina.
